Companies can withdraw an interview request from a developer for a wide variety of reasons. Here are a few of the most common ones we see:
The position has been filled by the company
The company is no longer hiring for this position
The candidate took too long to reply and the company has assumed they're not interested
Embarrassingly, companies can accidentally click send on an interview request, and they have to withdraw it quickly
The company might have made a mistake when sending the interview request, like forgetting to attach critical information (we've all been there) so they've withdrawn it to fix it before resending
